Understand. Teach.

Sungjong Park, D.C. | DC PARKCurrently Center Director, Noble Medical Clinic · Hanoi, Vietnam

Since 2014, I have worked in chiropractic, individualized rehabilitation exercise for pain, posture correction, and scoliosis. Drawing on experience running my own exercise center and working at medical facilities in China and Vietnam, I now oversee clinical assessment and rehabilitation, therapist training, program design, and clinic operations.

Pain is often a result. So rather than "where it hurts", I first look at "why the body came to move that way".

Alongside my clinical work, I run Noble Academy, an education program for exercise and rehabilitation professionals, where I share assessment and exercise knowledge that can be put to use right away. In these columns, I aim to write about scoliosis, posture, pain, and exercise in a way that is clear and accurate.

Perspective

Looking at why it hurts, not just where

01

Finding the cause

I look beyond the painful spot, assessing posture and movement as a whole to find the cause.

02

Function first

The goal goes beyond being pain-free: a body that moves well in daily life and exercise.

03

Supporting self-management

I guide exercise and daily habits so you can manage on your own.

04

Medical care when needed

When medical care is needed first, the rule is to refer you to the right specialist.
